90's Disney animated musicals are the only way to go!

Yah. Anything Disney. Well, the classics anyway. My two personal favourites are Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. I just LOVE little kid movies... finding nemo, the incredibles, shrek, shrek ...

I have a bunch of English teachers and a friend who HATE disney. I have to agree with them on some counts though, Beauty and the Beast is very sexist.

Sexist? Really? Isn't that part of the point, though....to show that sexism is actually bad? I lurve Beauty and the Beast, - be careful!

A friend of mine did an english presentation on how Disney films should not be shown to little children, and i have to admit he had some pretty good hard evidence to back it up, if you look at most of the fine details in the movies the you'll see, etc.

If you really look deep into Disney movies, they are actually very violent and most have very mature themes. But I still love 'em!

yep, they sure do

But, you don't really realize the mature themes until you are older. At least, I didn't. When you first watch the movies, you just don't understand the underlying details. Wisdom comes with age.

So true....I watch Disney movies now and they make me think about far bigger things than the princess getting the guy. Especially with Hunchback....and Beauty and the Beast! Now, how is it sexist?
