I believe that we should be planning for our short-term goal, Wonderland. After these plans are arranged (as the event will likely occur in the next few weeks) we can plan the Birch trip for next summer. A weekday for sure for Wonderland, to avoid the weekend line-ups, although it'll still be fairly busy.

sup guys! ya the birch thinger would be awesome! the only issue about everyone having their license is that do u really think your parents r gonna let you drive on a freeway or for more than an hour after only having your license for maybe a year...thats my only concern for that...but wonderland is pretty middle for everyone, especially cuz the most amount of people are from toronto...just a suggestion:D...but ya keep it up and i'm in!!

Well, I'd carpool with a few guys and gals, as quite a few came from Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge, but yeah, my parents would probably still drive me up.

Let's hear some Wonderland dates! How about a Monday this month, any Monday?

Why mondays though? I think some people have summer school...acceleration courses and stuff this month, so if it IS this month and we want to include everyone then it has to be on a weekend...but then the lines would be SUPER long...

Yes, that is why weekdays would be better. Sadly, some of us won't be available for any certain day this month, we simply need to pick a date that the largest number of people are available for.

Yeah, the pros and cons:

weekends: more available, but longer lines

weekdays: less available, but shorter lines

I don't know about everyone else, but my summer school course ends on July 25th...does everyone else end around then? Maybe if we waited until everyone was done, that would work and we could go on a weekday.

Yeah, end of july sounds reasonable; it wouldn't be too far away nor too close. I would only request that if possible, we avoid scheduling it between August 5-13, since that is when the Men's Rogers Cup for tennis is running (at York University). But i understand we must go with whatever date people most people are available for ^_^.

I don't have summer school, but I have work, and I always get my schedules on Thursday for the coming Sunday to Saturday (so little notice!) so anything past the 25th I won't know until like a few days before if I'm available.

Oh wow, I just totally realized I'm leaving for a trip after the 13th =P it'd be awwweeeesome if we could get it in before then, even though i know the trip doesn't revolve around me keeping fingers crossed!

Why don't we try for late august right before school starts up again, on a weekday...so most summer school and activities will not be taking place, and if we have a longer gap between OELC week and our wonderland/meet up day it will be more exciting seeing each other again...if we had the trip this month, i dun think everyone would ba AS happy/excited to see everyone, so i say the later the better, just b4 school so most events have concluded...later:D

You're probably right Kyle, though I won't deny that I'd like to hang out with everyone tomorrow.

I think the idea of the reunion at birch is brilliant. We can send email to everyone when we decide to gather. I also like the idea of wonderland.

All this month I'll be at a day camp in Guelph, and the week before school I'll be at the National Music Camp. Go me.

I still find the Birch idea awesome, though!

And yes, Cam - I wish we could all just get together right now. Or still be at OELC, of course!

I realize we should organize the summer thing first =P but would anyone be interested in getting together sometime between the end of the summer and whenever we do the birch thing? wait... that might work better than the summer thing actually
