Hey all,
Section A is planning a wonderland trip!! Yay! OMG1111!1!! The widely accepted date is AUGUST 2nd. That's AUGUST 2nd. We would meet at wonderland, and go on fun rides and such. However, I feel that we need to structure things a little. That is, not everyone will be able to get there for the exact same time, so I propose we have 2 or 3 'meet up' times throughout the day. So, we could try and arrive for those times and catch up with everyone at a certain area, or if you're already there, you could greet people at those times. It's coming up soon, so suggestions, ideas, etc. are all wecome / needed. Maybe decide on a meet-up place and times? Your input is appreciated. - Cam EDIT: Please take note that the date has been changed to August 16th, as there was a lack of participation for the 2nd. If you are in touch with anyone who is not on this board and would be interested in going, please relay the information to them. Thanks for all your help.[/b]

So, we have figured out some basic planning for Wonderland. That is some of us Section Aers. This is what we have so far.
Date: Wednesday August 2nd, 2006
Cost: ~Group: If more than 25 are coming, then we can order tickets ahead of time for a group rate. However, this would mean that one person would have to buy all of the tickets, so this may not favourable. It is all complicated, so individual tickets may be better. ~Individual: We have a few options here. If you want to buy your ticket ahead of time, you can get a discount if you buy it three days before the day we go. These tickets are $39.65. However, if you just want to buy your ticket when you arrive the cost will be around $42.87
Time: Well, on August 2, the park is open from 10am until 10pm. We should probably have our first pow-wow around 10am. Another one around 2pm and a last one around 6pm. If this doesn't work for someone, please let us know. We can always work around this. To make this simple, we should meet by the main entrance, as that is where people will be entering.
Travel: As we can assume, many people may need a ride. As many as of us live in the same areas, maybe we should try to organize a carpool. This way, as many people can come as possible.
Waterpark Option: Also, because it is summer, I assume that the waterpark will be open. We should probably decide if we want to take advantage of this or not. Hours are 11am-8pm.
Feel free to ask any other questions!

Okay, and as for meeting up times... I suggest just the main entrance, maybe at 12:00, 3:00 and 5:00? That way, as people arrive, we can meet them all. Is that acceptable?

Yah. We should just decide on definite times. But I think the main entrance is the best spot to meet up.

I think individual is much easier.

I think that the best option would be to just buy them at the gate. I mean, if you really want to get it ahead of time and save $3, be my guest. The group rates will take a lot of work, so, I think that individual buying would be the best.

I like Cam's meeting times....still, we should have times that go between times.
For example: Instead of 2 o'clock, we could have "between 2 and 2:15." Just to make sure nobody is forgotten.

Yeah, maybe as a rule of thumb, we could have it go for 20 minutes at each meet up?

Sounds good. We could always incoporate that time as bathroom break time. You know.

Hmm. Anyone else from Kitchener/Cambridge need a ride? Carpooling is fun! OUTSIDE the main entrance, where the detectors/gates are, that way we can meet before we go inside and get lost.
