Okay guys, if any of you would like to see RENT (more than half of the cast is from the original Broadway production) on November 21st at the Centre in the Square in Kitchener, please let me know in here immediately, and how many you would like. Katie Mackenzie has asked for two tickets, and I'm obviously going, so that makes three tickets so far.
Tickets are $39, $49, and $59, depending on the section we sit in. BUT, in my region anyways, if you have a student card, it only costs $5.00!! Tickets go on sale August 18th, so I would like to have a complete list of people by August 17th.
If we could all meet up on the 18th in Kitchener and go purchase our tickets together, that would be great. If not that day, we will have to choose another day, and the later we wait to go purchase tickets, the less seats will be available.
This will be an amazing experience!

8 PM on November 21st. If you would like to go, you must be available to come to my house on Friday August 18th, as will Katie and her friend. My mom will drive us all over to Centre in the Square to buy tickets. Remember to bring your student card to get $5 tickets.
Please respond/post if interested.

Guys....oh my gosh....
Okay, here's the story. My birthday is on November 22nd....I told my mom about Rent as a joke. A couple weeks ago I went to see Jesus Christ Superstar at the Center, and met a boy there from another camp I went to. He asked me if I was coming back for Rent, and I told him no. He seemed confused. We left.
Last night I looked at the calendar, and saw Rent on the 21st. I ask my mom if I wrote that to see if we could get tickets, and even though she assured me I was right, she had this mischevious grin on her face. I started getting really weirded out, and she finally told me about the Rock and Roll package you could buy your tickets in.
Guys - I'm going to be there! I can't believe it - I can't wait to see whoever's going! We should definately plan something for before the show, though, like dinner or something.

AH! AWESOME! Sure, we can figure something out, I'll find out what time the others will be getting into town.
Where do you want to go for dinner?

Doesn't matter. Nothing too fancy, I guess. Something "Bar and Grill" might be fun!

I'm going to see if I can take a trip there with my music council, and if not, I'll try everything else to make it there! EDIT: Looks like it's a little too far out of the way for a music council trip, but I'm still going to try and get a few friends together. EDIT FURTHER: Can't go, as I'm an accompnist for a local production of Bye Bye Birdie, which has a showing that night. Have a good time, though!
